Replace the following with dummy files (or delete them).
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\media\valve.bik
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\media\l4d_intro.bik
Alternatively, you can modify StartupVids.txt in the media folder (just delete all the entries)
