How To Make A Blank File

There are many times when removing intros when you can simply delete or replace the file completely.  I believe replacing the video file with a dummy or blank file is a better strategy, and in some cases is necessary.

Easy way in Windows to make a blank/dummy file:

"Hide Extensions for known file types" must be disabled.

Under Vista, this is done by:

Control Panel > Folder Options > View

Uncheck "Hide Extensions for known file types", hit OK.

Make a new text file (right click, New > Text Document).

Rename the file to whatever you want and don't forget to change the file extensions!

The file will be 0kb!
